The green is now open for roll ups, you are now able to play as an individual, singles or pairs observing social distancing.
This means that four individuals from different households can play as pairs on the same rink either with two or three woods each.
In the event of a pairs match two consecutive sessions may be booked if available and play may continue through the interval period.
Bowling will be on rinks 1, 3 and 5 afternoons only with rinks 2, 4 and 6 being used alternate weeks at the following times
13:00 to 14:00 or 14:30 to 15:30 or 16:00 to 17:00 or 17:30 to 18:30 or 19:00 to 20:00
You must book a rink so please complete the booking form on the tab Rink Bookings
this will be emailed to Bob Spence who will allocate a rink and place your name/s on the calendar
a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Oakham Bowling Club was founded in 1910 and has gone from strength to strength since thanks to the diligence and hard work of our stalwart members over the years. We now have an excellent green and clubhouse with excellent catering facilities and a licensed bar. We are a very friendly lawn bowls club offering residents of Oakham and surrounding areas the opportunity to play this intriguing game socially and competitively. Our playing season runs from early April to the end of September, in the close season we offer carpet bowls and various social events.
We welcome new members regardless of age, gender or ability.
