OPEN DRAW FOR CLUB COMPS – tomorrow at 6.30pm in the Clubhouse. Come and join the excitement as you find out your opponents and partners in this year’s comps.

PRESIDENT’S EVENING – date is in the process of being changed as there’s a clash next week. Watch this space, but please keep collecting your donations for tombola and raffles etc.

OPEN DAY 16TH MAY – Clive is looking for 6 more volunteers to help on the day please. There will be an information day at the Club on Tuesday 12 May at 10am where you’ll learn what happens on the day and be given a specific duty to do. Any queries please ring Clive on 07947 802352

FRIENDLIES - Please don’t forget to sign up for the Friendlies – there are plenty of availability sheets on the board opposite the bar. All full members are eligible to play in these matches, and if you are a new member this is a great introduction to competitive bowling in an extremely friendly environment.

CHUMMIES – meet on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10.30am. If you’d like to arrange some coaching then please contact Keith.

Apologies to anyone who has struggled with the lock into the clubhouse recently. It has been playing up and I’m pleased to tell you that Denis will shortly be installing a new lock system, and we will email you with information and details of how it will work. It won’t be very different from what we have now, but better I’m given to understand.

Are you looking for some bowls? Eileen Wright is offering her bowls to anyone who is interested.

They are a size 2 heavy and come with a bag if required.If you are interested please contact me and I can arrange to bring them to the club.

Unfortunately several of our members are poorly at the moment, and without naming names, we wish them all the best for a quick return to health. Don’t forget if you need help of any sort, we are here, you just need to send a message or pick up the phone.
