Welcome to Oakham Bowling Club

It is now over 100 years since the foundation of OBC, and we can only wonder how many thousands of games have taken place on our green. One thing we know for certain is that the club members throughout our long history didn’t spend all their time playing because the excellent facilities which we have today bear testament to their ongoing efforts and now you’ll find a thriving club with an excellent 7 rink green, a modern clubhouse with full catering facilities, a licensed bar, and a private car park shared with our friends at Oakham Tennis Club. Within the last few years disabled facilities have been added, including widened surround with wheelchair access on to the green, low threshold entrance and disabled toilet and no doubt committed members in days to come will continue to ensure that our club continues to develop.

The following pages will tell you a little about what we offer as a club and if you’d like to find out more, whether you are an experienced bowler or totally new to the sport, we’d love to hear from you.
