Paul's Presidents Day

Paul's had a wonderful day and everyone enjoyed good company, good weather, good bowling and excellent food.

Paul's team won and he raised over £400 for his chosen charity Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

Presentation Lunch

Sunday October 3rd marked the end of the summer bowling season as members got together for the annual trophy presentation lunch. 44 members enjoyed a delicious cottage pie lunch, cooked by several of the ladies, followed by lemon meringue pie and ice cream.  

Trophy presentation followed with Janet Horwood giving a short report from each match and President Paul Murrant presenting the trophies.

Anne Preston Bambridge kindly took the photographs of the winners and runners up.

Members of Oakham Bowls Club met at the Vale on Sunday for the awarding of Trophy’s to the winners and runners up in the various Club Competitions that were held this year.
